The Corporation (2003)

in #informationwar6 years ago (edited)

The Corporation (2003) is a film that compares the modern corporation to a psychopath. The film does this by disclosing a truth about corporations most people do not know. And that is that the institution of the corporation, according to law, is that they are people. These huge multi-national conglomerates use their "personhood" so they can legally bring people to court.

The documentary focuses on the rise of the corporation from it's rather insignificant impact 160 years ago to the all pervasive monstrosities they are today. It also goes into the legal and political scheming that has allowed corporations to become so powerful. And in future-prediction fashion, they explore how corporations are broadly unaccountable for the decisions they make that impact the public.

Ironically, we recently saw a series of corporate leaders testify on Capitol Hill. And the collusion between establishment politician and #BigTech for instance could never have been more apparent when Congressman Mike Quigley (D-Illinois), complained that "fake news" was populating the search list when he typed in "Florida high school shooting" into Twitter.
In one of the most Orwellian moments in American History, Quigley was told that the algorithm had been changed during the lunch break.

Another interesting story that was quashed by algorithms of the Big Tech was the female student who saw Nikolas Cruz while she evacuated the school. According to this unidentified young women, she heard shots from the other side of the school at the very same time she joked to Cruz and said, "I'm surprised you weren't the one who did it.". And knowing that corporations have run main stream media for years, it's not surprising they didn't carry this interview. But, the internet was supposed to be a safe haven for free thinking and honest journalism. And we have yet again been had by the corprotions as they censored this story enough to effectively take it out of the public dialogue about this tragedy.

So knowing what the gist of the documentary The Corporation is about, allows us to look at these modern tech giants in the same light the film paints. Essentially, as the modern corprotions have the power of a person in court, the film mentally diagnoses this "person". And what they come up with is a solid case that we are dealing with psychopaths.

Knowing that we have been warned by this powerful film back in 2003, here we are 15 years later, apparently none the wiser. Except now, the stakes are even higher, because the very medium the film used to get it's message across, the precious free flow of information that is the internet, has now been compromised by the very demon they warned us about.

Of course the corporations are using Alex Jones and Infowars as their clarion call to arms against "free speech". And it is alarming to hear how many elected officials in America are willing to throw away our First Amendment Rights to silence Jones. Often caustic, sometimes hilarious, and dead-on right of too many important news stories to count, Jones it seems has riled Big Tech and establishment Left and Right politicians in America. And taking the diagnosis from The Corporation (2003) into account, is the man using World Wrestling Federation tactics to get his point across the psychopath? Or is it the calculated and seemingly calm tech captains who, in lock-step with mainstream media and establishment politicians enforce their censorship under the banner of, "We're a private corporation", the real psychopaths here?

George Orwell could never have imagined that humanity would come under the heal of the globalist jackboot in such a willing and subservient way. And the crimes that the film, The Corporation outline are now subject to censorship from yet another psychopath. To date we have seen the callous rejection of humanity in the name of profits on the subject of the environment and the banking industry. Now we are in a desperate hour as more psychopaths silence the cries of humanity against the injustice foisted upon us all.

One thing is for sure, corporations are not people. They are multi-headed monsters. And while there is no argument that can make anyone not appreciate Western Civilization, at the same time multi-platform censorship, should be a cold bucket of water in the face everyone who loves freedom. Lawsuits are fine. Anti-trust actions may work. But the solution is in the blockchain. By incorporating blockchain technology to social media we will be able to crush these abusive tech giants. And perhaps one day, the other psychopaths will get their "personhood" taken from them.
