Analyzing the Kerry Forides UFO Video
One of the things that UFO researchers are always on the look out for is good UFO video. And, at the same time, any UFO researcher doing his or her due diligence, will be cautious when footage or an image is in the "too good to be true" category. Now, as image sensors become more powerful, perhaps one day UFO researchers will get a "Rosetta Stone" moment with a great looking verified image. So, with that in mind, here is my analysis of the Kerry Forides UFO Video.
Here is a frame I brought into Photoshop after making screen grabs of the original video that I brought into Premiere.
Whatever it is, it wastes no time changing direction. And as UFOs go, this one is very odd in that it seems to be emitting black smoke. And, so far, the only explanation I can find for a smoking UFO, is perhaps it was damaged, and the video captures it's escape. If that sounds far fetched, do your research on claims that the USA has shot down UFOs. And of course these pieces fit into the mystery about a secret space war.
Zoomed in, we unfortunately have a lot of pixelation. Ironically, Kerry Forides, the man who took this video, (most likely with a smartphone), does not seem to someone who is into UFOs when you look at his YouTube page. And, I also do not see any evidence to suggest that he was able to somehow create an elaborate CGI effects gag.
Curves allows us to manipulate the color information on a graph. Here, I mimic the color histogram, and the results give us this bullet shaped image. Granted, with all the smoke coming off it, I do not think this is a solid bullet shape.
Using the Channel Mixer, I adjusted the sliders around until I found something in the smoke. Granted, what I found "inside" the smoke, might only be varying degrees of smoke particle density.
Leaning more toward the blue, the Channel Mixer in Photoshop appears to reveal something inside the smoke trail.
Is there an object we cannot see in front of the smoke, creating a trail as it moves? Or is there something inside the smoke itself?
Pushing Photoshop's Color Mixer to the limit, I find what seems to be the edge of a disk. Do you agree with my analysis?
Zoomed into the Color Mixer and adding more channel contrasts, this appears to be the side view of a disk or classic "flying saucer"
To make sure I wasn't seeing what I wanted to see, I cranked the Color Mixer into the blue. And again, the same shape appears.
Still not convinced myself, I continue to alter the Channel Mixer to see what I can see. What do you think this is?
Near the end of the video, what ever this object was turned away from the aircraft and began to shrink on the horizon. Still, there is a faint shape of the side view of a disk. Or perhaps this is what is known as a "Cigar Shaped UFO".
The red arrow points to the object only frames before it's gone. Still, there appears to be some sort of object we are looking at. And it seems to have moved away from the aircraft very quickly as it gets smaller and smaller on the horizon.
