Multiculturalism - Nations not Carrying Their Weight

The Concept of having a multicultural society where an ethnically and religiously diverse group of people live happily together isn't new. However, one major fallout of the Syrian war save the countless lives lost, has been the acceleration of multiculturalism. People are being compelled to accept foreigners into their land where they are given full benefits of host Nations but are under no obligations to integrate with the host society.

With Globalisation and multiculturalism going hand in hand, examining the spread of diverse societies carefully becomes necessary for an understanding of future demographics. I decided to examine continents and influential Countries outside the West to see how accepting they are of the multicultural agenda.

Eastern Europe put up a staunch resistance to immigration. While it hasn't been a complete success, they are strengthened by the support of the masses for their leaders.

In Asia, most Asian countries are still very tightly knit with a few mainly paying lip service to a Multicultural society. It is still very difficult to obtain a Work Permit especially if you're from a low income country or status.

China for example has made it clear that the only Globalisation they support is of Trade.

The Oil rich Gulf States rarely ever give foreigners citizenship even in the case of birth. Don't be decieved by the amount of tourism happening in the UAE, as visitors are regarded as visitors regardless of how long they've stayed in the Country . Foreigners are meant to strictly follow the laws of the land if they plan on staying, same cannot be said of the West.

Due to their low income status, North America and Africa are undesirable destinations
for migrants hence have more or less retained their status. Even then, a migrant backlash was recently experienced in Africa's most industrialized nation, South Africa, showing how they may perceive Diversity.

That leaves Australia, New Zealand, Western Europe, Canada and the USA carrying the weight of A multicultural society. History has also shown us what happens when there is a multicultural setting and whether it has ever succeeded.
