If people use fear of acts of violence to sway political outcome or otherwise coerce then that itself until there are acts of violence is not technically terrorism. Once they have actually committed acts of violence then it does become terrorism. Antifa in the form of the black block has had quite a number of these. The sad thing with all generalizations is there are always exceptions. Generalizations are dangerous no matter where you use them. Generalizations are why Racism exists for example. Without generalizing groups of people based upon skin color we wouldn't have racism.

The problem with Antifa is that it condones the Black Block, it also condones other groups such as BAMN, By Any Means Necessary. These blocks technically are just as worthy of the title of terrorists as any other group. Though they are still generalizations of groups of people. This is true of any terrorist group.

Division is definitely something we need to stop. Yet there are those that have no interest in compromise. They plan to FORCE their will. Antifa in the form of the Black Block and BAMN qualify as this type.

You can try for peace. It should be tried. Yet we also must recognize when there are those that are swinging the sword towards our heads. When do you defend yourself?

I am no fan of generalizations. I don't think Antifa members should be called terrorists unless they are caught in the act of terrorism. They should be arrested enmass when participating in acts of violence and destruction. Those that say they are Antifa but do not engage in such, I believe should be innocent until proven guilty.
