It's funny how he's portrayed in movies as a friend of blacks... he hated them! In another letter he wrote that he didn't believe that whites and blacks could ever coexist because of the inferiority of the black race. In history books they write that he bought Liberia so that any blacks that "wanted" to relocate there would have a place to go. In fact he bought it to get rid of them.
