RE: Water: Bottled Madness

Indeed. I'm no environmentalist by trade, and in some instances, I can only take what I'm given (in the case of where I live, the water is freaking awful-tasting, so I don't drink it, after all, how do I know that the bad taste isn't from something toxic in the water?), but one of the things I love is what our Mother Earth can provide for us. No one cares about her, and then when you do, you get looked upon as if you have eighteen heads. What the frig is this? In terms of water, though, there is a beautiful spring in NH where we could bother to get water if we felt like it ... only two exits down from our camp site, but seeing that I can't drive, and no one else wants to go all the way down there because they're all too lazy, then what option do I have but to drink from a bottle?

Thanks so much for sharing this comment, @cambridgeport90 :-)

I know; in some place the tapwater just isn't drinkable. But that can be fixed, that's the point. You are one of many that have almost no other choice than to drink the bottled kind; I have had to do so to on occasion and am lucky to live in a place where the tapwater is of at least a drinkable quality :-) My point is that there's no other reasons than money-reasons to not have drinkable tapwater everywhere for everyone.
