Well, what has to happen is that people have to take on the responsibility to rule themselves. When you abdicate responsibility to someone else, this is what happens. This is what has always happened.

Anarchy will be the government in the future.
But, it probably won't be called anarchy, and the first step to a good government is to change the term government. (government meaning mind control)

So, we start to form a voluntary protectorate. Or, a people's trade agreement coalition. And, with the internet such things can be carried out quite efficiently.

We used to need things like postmen to carry letters far and wide, now, we have built a string of robots to deliver any message we have to almost anyone on the planet, almost instantly.

Soon, most govern-cement services will fall into the same classification.
