RE: Somethings Need to be Seen to be Faced ! How Much More Time Do We and this Planet Have Left !
And, although each of these black pills are heinous, they are not the whole story.
When future historians write about the earth, they will say that everything before 2012 was the barbarian era.
Species come and species go. We have only been around for the going part, and so, don't know this progress of life. So what will anthropologists think when new species start showing up? What will that do to the idea of evolution. Be prepared to throw anthropology books into the dung heaps.
Yes we have put plastics everywhere. And that spot in the ocean has been growing and growing. But it has been doing so for decades. But, barely a score of years ago, people didn't care. Now they do. And it is just a matter of time before we clean it up. Further, we are about to see things like glass bottles that do not shatter.
And bees are more populous now because man, beekeepers, recognized the dangers and moved their bees away. They divided colonies and now there are more bee colonies than before the die off.
Hey , thanks for coming back to me @builderofcastles and having the patience to wait for me to finish this post ! So tell me, really, is all of these things you list to me true ?? I would love to think that it is as could it be that we are going to be able to avert the wall, before its too late ??
Up, in the northern part of america there appears to be a new breed of wild dog. Somewhere between a coyote and a wolf. It is filling that niche where there is not enough area for big animals, but the game is not just small rodents. This new species breeds true.
There is a tale of an ancient chinese who made a glass bowl that would not break. He took it to present to the emperor who cut off his head. It was said that the bowl was sent flying, and it didn't crack when it crashed, it dented. There is a person who believes they have revived the secret.
Life with plastics is about to change in a big way.
Imagine most people growing their own food, because technology has just made it that easy. So, what about all those plastic bags we put produce in at the stores? All of that market just disappears. The solution is do nothing.
Now, cleaning up plastic is going to be interesting, as technology improves, not only can we collect it, but make it profitable to collect.
Right now, it doesn't even pay the truck driver who hauls a truck load of bottles to a recycling plant. The fuel consumed is more than what was used to make the plastic.
Yes absolutely, there is a will at least in the " developed "populations of the world, a call , to see this detritus which is discarded plastic recuperated and removed from the natural habitat to which it has been so foolishly by ignorant hands !
Yes there is a huge amount of money to be made by those that have systems which can address this issue and as you say we already see companies now investing and fulfilling this vital role ! We can just pray and hope that this pendulum is swinging back and that we may just by the skin of our teeth avoid this disastrous effect that this BI.Phenol-A ridden plastic has on the building blocks of all life, namely DNA and the code to all Life, Creation and Procreation ! Great comment as ever @builderofcastles ! Oh before i forget could you maybe link something on the populations of bees increasing now ?? Id be most interested and it would certainly give me call for hope to read something to this nature !
...do you more inf/link for this , matey? I never realized. Good news.
I am very bad with names, and so extremely bad about finding things again (because all the search things want a name)
I will try to find such. But, it was never really reported.
