WWII comedy propaganda vs todays worldsteemCreated with Sketch.

Let me start with a disclaimer before I get slammed for the wrong reasons.
Just to be clear, I'm NOT promoting fascism in any way or form.
Ok, that's done..

A Guild Films Production of Anti-Japanese propaganda.

Not so funny is it?

Walt Disney also joined the propaganda collaboration

Donald Duck

Minnie and Pluto

A bit more about Walt himself

And now it gets more interesting,
To me it feels very creepy. As the western education system does the same in a more subtle hidden manner.

have a listen to this:

Todays crackdown on internet censorship is the same as the WWII bookburning.
Just destroy everything that you don't want people to know about. And once everyone is brainwashed with fake news propaganda then roll out the war machine.

They did it in Libya, Iraq, Syria... Who is the poorest next, who has the weakest defence? Venezuela or Iran?

In a way we are lucky to have comedians who joined the independent journalists who actually care for humanity. The comedians can not be 'laughed away' they enjoy the laughter and it energises them.

But what I wanted to is the parallels between WWII and todays warmongering.
It is not 100% comparable but that's the nasty catch, todays warmongers will try to wave it away as democracy. We live in a democracy, socialism is bad, and that justifies all wars against socialists.
What they then forget is that 'their democracy' has long lost the democratic process and has turned into a DICTATORSHIP
Remember that word.
WWII Germany was a dictatorship on top of socialism, our todays corporatism has slowly turned our democracy into a covert corporate dictatorship.
The money of all the corporations has more power then ANY president will ever have.
And these corporations are not dependent on any given country. If things go south in a certain country then they just move the headquarters to another country where life is good an labour is cheap. Most of these Western corporations are now in Asia and are slowly moving to South America, East Africa and South East Asia now that China has been saturated.

To me it looks like the planet is slowly becoming too small for big wars. Ant war could destabilise the planet enough to derange the entire global economy, and not to speak of natural disasters.
It would make far more sense to transform the weapons factories to produce materials for survival instead of killing machines. Nature will soon be our biggest enemie, and we need to find ways to live WITH nature instead of destroying nature for the greed of natural resources.
That was a big digress from comedy wasn't it?
Since you made it this far, I have little surprise to close with.

Make fun!
