The solution is simple and obvious. Close the inside toilets up, rent some port-a-potties and place them in the parking lot. Solves the issue completely, also allows for a place for some to have a smoke while taking care of business.

That would be viable, other than I imagine they would ban smoking as others would be exposed to the second hand smoke in the enclosed portapotties.
Oh yeah, forget about the second hand methane from all the shit, lets bitch about how second hand smokes smells worse than shit. As a kid we camped out a lot, and even though my mother did not smoke she would get one of my dad's smoke every time she had to use the outhouse. I guess sense of smell has changed now. But you are right they would ban it, and install smoke detectors, and probably cameras just to make sure everyone got to enjoy the smell of the bosses shit. ;-}
