Did Trump Commit Treason in Syria?

in #informationwar5 years ago

The question wasn't that treason which implies his staying in Syria to loot the country's oil turning the US forces into mercenaries. It was something totally the opposite from someone who obviously doesn't know that Syria is not among the US 88 states (including Israel, Saudi and other Gulfies, Britain, Germany, Turkey, Japan and other countries under US occupation).

Did Donald Trump commit treason by giving a U.S. base in Syria to the Russians? was the question put up by a Quora member a couple of months ago and it came through my timeline earlier today.

So I left a short answer on Quora, copying it here to preserve it from Quora's heavy censorship:

Actually Donald Trump committed so many treason acts the one you mentioned not included in them, on the contrary, it could be fixing one of the acts he committed.

As candidate, Trump promised to withdraw his forces from the ‘Middle East’ and the rest of the world and focus on his country, when president, he betrayed those who voted for him, that may not amount not treason but definitely it’s a betrayal.

As candidate he promised to ‘lock her up’, when president he betrayed those who voted him. That was betrayal for all humanity including the sex-enslaved children in the Epstein case, as an example.

As candidate he promised to ‘Make America Great Again’, as president he made his country the weakest most hated most despised country in the world including the US’s most loyal allies. That’s not a treason, that’s stupidity, but amounts to enough betrayal for those who voted him.

As candidate, again, he promised to ‘Make America Great Again’, instead when president he sacrificed the US’s full resources to try to make ‘Israel’ great by all means, still he’s very far from that.

Trump committed a war crime against international law against an Iranian top general and diplomat, he made the lives of every US citizen and especially soldier at risk, especially those in the Middle East who if he doesn’t withdraw them fast enough they’ll come back ‘horizontal, not vertical’.

If sacrificing the safety of thousands of US troops in the Middle East upon orders of his buddy the embattled Israeli Netanyahu is not a treason, better change the definition of the word.

On the immediate term, some of the above might not sound for the average American as treason, but within time every single American will feel the consequences of each of these acts very hard at home and abroad. History is full of lessons.

And what did all the former presidents and politicians commit? So far Trump.is one of the few, if not the only one, who kept most of the promises he made during the elections. This cannot be said of the rest of the egos making a mess out of this world.

Look, a couple of things to note: 1. The topic is about Syria and not some tiny domestic things in the USA - which even in those Trump made massive problems and you can ask the soy farmers as an example - and what Trump did in Syria exceeded what his predecessors did including George W. Bush himself.

  1. A criminal is not counted by the good deeds he's done, he's condemned for a single bad act that he has done. In other words if a priest was giving away charity and dedicated his entire life to help dozens of families but was raping or at least molesting one boy in his church, which act you'll judge him on?

Simply asking the question defines capitulation to a higher power. This is typical of the weak. In a 1000 year the question will be the same, but the president will be different. As such the malady lies with the willing victim.

True that, mostly in the USA though which as what the rest of the world is seeing it's in its final days. I'll be posting an episode of a documentary detailing some of that maybe today or tomorrow. Worth watching.
