Bye Bye Privacy
In case you're still after the tracking cookies on your browser, you better not waste your time.. It's not worth it.
A start-up company has been selling tracking data using over 3 billion captured and scraped pictures from the net to 'law enforcement agencies' around the world, including some small local units, in other words: this will be the next largest breach of data yet to be uncovered.
Whatever you posted or shared online that has a picture in it is allegedly captured by this company matched with facial recognition software and sold to those buyers.
The New York Times report on it
If you have a subscription to The NY Times you can read the rest of the story there: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/18/technology/clearview-privacy-facial-recognition.html
If you're concerned about your privacy you can start acting accordingly and demanding that the 'real law enforcement agencies' go after the abusing ones and the abusing figures.
