False Flag 'Known Events' of the 1960's...
In response to @shepz1 challenge to make a post about a personally favorite false flag event, I was hard pressed to determine a 'single' one which stays in my mind; there are just, far too many...
Yet, as I continued to think about it, my thoughts went in the direction of, "Why not just write an article about false flags in general?" With that thought in mind, I began to search online for a previous compilation; and found one.
Washingtons Blog has an article posted on Feb. 9, 2015 with a listing of 42 such false flags admitted to in a variety of ways. Though the list is not fully comprehensive, within the individual synopsis of each, there are links which point the reader in the right direction to research further.
First, I'd like to remind those of you who know, or enlighten those who do not, where the term False Flag stems from. (At least commonly believed)
In the days of yore...with wooden ships sailing the open seas, they would customarily fly the flag of their respective Nation...as an identifiable sign to other ships and land bound inhabitants of countries they were passing or approaching.
It is believed that Pirates were the first to subvert this tradition, using it to their advantage for attack. The thieves of the sea would hoist a 'friendly' flag up upon a mast in order to fool the crew of another ship. With the targeted ships crew relaxed...they would allow the Pirate vessel to approach close enough for a surprise attack launched against them.
False Flag Events or Plans of the 1960's
I've decided to copy the list that I found 'only' for the period of the nineteen-sixties which perhaps most of us can remember or relate to in some way. Also, some of these events are rather obscure and 'not' so widely known. The more recent false flag events have been covered so much by conspiracy analysts online, that my listing them would probably be a bit more boring at this point.
So...Here they are:
(12) In 1960, American Senator George Smathers suggested that the U.S. launch “a false attack made on Guantanamo Bay which would give us the excuse of actually fomenting a fight which would then give us the excuse to go in and [overthrow Castro]“.
(13) Official State Department documents show that, in 1961, the head of the Joint Chiefs and other high-level officials discussed blowing up a consulate in the Dominican Republic in order to justify an invasion of that country. The plans were not carried out, but they were all discussed as serious proposals.
(14) As admitted by the U.S. government, recently declassified documents show that in 1962, the American Joint Chiefs of Staff signed off on a plan to blow up AMERICAN airplanes (using an elaborate plan involving the switching of airplanes), and also to commit terrorist acts on American soil, and then to blame it on the Cubans in order to justify an invasion of Cuba. See the following ABC news report; the official documents; and watch this interview with the former Washington Investigative Producer for ABC’s World News Tonight with Peter Jennings.
(15) In 1963, the U.S. Department of Defense wrote a paper promoting attacks on nations within the Organization of American States – such as Trinidad-Tobago or Jamaica – and then falsely blaming them on Cuba.
(16) The U.S. Department of Defense even suggested covertly paying a person in the Castro government to attack the United States: “The only area remaining for consideration then would be to bribe one of Castro’s subordinate commanders to initiate an attack on Guantanamo.”
(17) The NSA admits that it lied about what really happened in the Gulf of Tonkin incident in 1964 … manipulating data to make it look like North Vietnamese boats fired on a U.S. ship so as to create a false justification for the Vietnam war.
(18) A U.S. Congressional committee admitted that – as part of its “Cointelpro” campaign – the FBI had used many provocateurs in the 1950s through 1970s to carry out violent acts and falsely blame them on political activists.
There you have it...read then research till your hearts content my fellow seekers of truth...
I'd like to leave you with this quote (below) by one of our Ex-CIA directors William J. Casey (January 28, 1981–January 29, 1987)
You know the funniest part about this comment is?
Google even says it may or may not have been said lol. Sad but true, thanks for the entry my friend.
Yeah...Like the Government loves the term, "We can neither confirm or deny it" of which can be interpreted as "YES"

I'd also really like to see a list of all the biggest false flags this century - from 911 to the California fires and all the fake mass shootings as well.
Do you know of any?
Thanks for responding frot... check out the link to the site/page that I took the 1960's portion of their list in the article.

They made a list, going way back and into the recent past. I forgot where they left off (post was from 2015) Calif. fires are definitely not on it, but we all know 'somethings not right with those'...
Good luck with your search.
