This blog may not exactly fit into what people are expecting to read in a post about teaching. While beginning this Blog I am writing with one thought and trying to expand on it or explain the view in more detail as the blog progresses.
I still have much to learn in a variety of areas within in Steemit itself. This learning will greatly rely on the views and tutoring from other's I expect. From how to improve the appearance of my own blogs. How to reach a wider audience. The best use of different types of text formatting and so on.
Teaching can be viewed in general terms as the sharing of knowledge from an experienced person to another with less experience. It is an interaction between two people or more, Generally with one having more knowledge of a subject than others involved with the interaction. Each person involved holds a certain responsibility, The tutor to share the knowledge and the student to take on board what is being taught. There is much more to teaching though, and the much more is generally not observed.

Tutoring begins when we are born, We begin to pick up on the things we hear, what we see and eventually what we are told about these things. Then we enter into schooling. Massed together in a room and dictated facts are begun to be inserted into our brains. The majority of these facts tend to be true. Like 1+1=2, 2=2=4 and so on. How to read words and form them into a sentence others can read and understand. These teachings I believe are essential to the intellectual growth all individuals. The fundamental basics and foundations from which we can progress to other levels and provide for interactions within a wider community or world.

Then, comes my personal opinion and this is only my personal opinion, and I put it out there for debate.
The throwing of facts into a mind increases the knowledge of a person. They say that age will bring the wisdom. Wisdom is missed in the teachings, where I believe it should not be. In schooling, we are not encouraged to explore these facts which are given to us. We are demanded to learn them and will be held to account on an examination paper. Each person is judged by the same criteria, a rating is given on the performance through examination. This is totally unfair and biased toward what one group feels should be a priority.
Though teaching and education can be two different things. The teachings we receive are mostly the education we get.
We learn about the genocide of the Jewish people in World War Two, regardless of if we are Jewish or not. Yet we do not learn about the genocide of the American Indian, of which is much greater than that of the Jewish people. We are taught the taking of others belongings is wrong and a punishment of a jail/prison term can be imposed for doing so. Yet we go to other Countries and take what is not ours without punishment to those who do so. We are taught that we live in a democracy, while we live under the rules of capitalism. We are taught we are a Free people while we live under enslavement to financial institutions.

The point I endeavour to make is, we are not taught to think and have our own thoughts. The tutor should not only have facts to share with the student but also be able to listen to the student. If the student does not gain an understanding, there should not be a grade punishment. There should be encouragement and n effort on behalf of the tutor to re-examine how the lesson was taught. There is no one rule to teaching which all will fall under, and those who do not fall into the right category are often left behind.

The biggest failure of teaching is we are not taught acceptance. To accept that others can believe different things to ourselves. To accept their right to that view and not to hold them with prejudice for it.
Fundamentally, We are not taught to think, to analyse, to experiment, to try new things. But to accept what has been said. Not to question it, and believe in what we are told.

Seems like an open and shut case debate has been running, glad i was not a part of it. For all the people that like to keep saying go back, I do not think there is room for everyone to live in Africa only. Not enough infrastructure there yet, when the UN has built all the roads and house and farms and electricity generating plants, and the water delivery systems and all the other things that every single man woman and child on the face of the Earth need to live then maybe we should all go back to where we came from.
Go back to where you came from argument is stupid as stupid does argument, and not a debate. One mans history is another man's lie.
The argument he puts up is a self-defence, and nothing to do with right and wrong. He is one without his opinion but the opinion of others. He also shows a great deal of lack of respect for all. In an effort to justify an invalid opinion which does serve any purpose but to disrupt and divide. I think the term used is Pea-Brain.

As far as the not being taught acceptance you are right about that! If more people were to accept that we all hold different opinions and that is ok then we could really see some changes in the world!

I think sometimes we are too hard on ourselves. We are all constantly learning and that is the distinction. It is up to us to learn. We cannot teach someone if they don't want to learn.
Agreed, there is a time and a place for many things and people have to be ready for it too. We do better as we are available and as we are there for people when they need us most.

Even if they did that doesn't justify killing them and taking their land. Two wrongs don't make a right.
Who said they did? Go ask @Stefan.Molyneux about that. Stefan has great videos all about the Native Americans. Other people have great books and videos about it.
White people were NOT trying to kill people, GENERALLY throughout history in many cases, most cases, especially in those certain cases. But white people passed on some European diseases which Native Americans were not prepared for and some did die. Some people did fight with Indians at times. However, look at the numbers. Look at the real statistics. Those were exceptions. For the most part, like Africans, tribes fight against other tribes in America, in Africa, in many places for centuries more so than what the white people are accused of and many white people are part Indian because many white people breded with Native Americans, made babies with them, and million of people have Indian blood in them as they intermixed the past few centuries or longer. All of this is a big long complex story like slavery. Please learn real history. Please look at real statistics and numbers. Please stop ignoring the whole story.
I suggest you read quotes from the founding fathers themselves. Many of them openly spoke about a desire to eradicate the natives and compared them to beasts and animals. And the overwhelming historical evidence is pretty clear.
Additionally I'm aware of all the things you mentioned and they are debated, not "fact". Please understand the difference between those things. :)

Native American Tribes committed genocides and bloody wars and murder and crimes, for centuries and centuries and centuries, like as seen in other tribes in Africa, and in Asia, more so than what has happened at times in Europe, and you can see this, and it was and has been so big and so bad and that is western civilization did so much to help the world more so than we are told by leftist education. We are lied to as we grow up going to schools and everything. The left wants us to think that white people are so bad and evil....

Once again. Just cause some people are killing each other is not an excuse to basically genocide a culture and steal their land and reduce them to concentration camps, even to this day their spirit is broken and many if not most live sort of like outcasts of societies on their reservations.. I live in AZ and I'm around a good amount of these people and I think they would agree a lot more with me than with you in regards to what happened to their people.. And yeah.. The winners write history their way. Which is why I mentioned the founders. If you read their writings they claim they wanted this land for "Providence".. And they believed they were sort of.. Given this land by God so they used the justification of their belief that the natives weren't sophisticated enough to properly utilize this land to wipe them out and take it.
These people were essentially the same group of secret societies that are still in power today. And now they are using the same logic albiet in a much more hidden manner to do these same kinds of things overseas, and one of the main justifications is.. "These people are savages and killing each other and stoning their women".. So the answer is go bomb then and kill millions???? Sorry. I'm not on board with governments wiping out whole groups of people, I'm against war unless it's self defense and none of these wars in my opinion are self defense.
And to answer your question. About refugees. When I put my "Minarchist" cap on.. And if we get down to the point where some level of involvement of government is necessary then I would suggest border controls of various manner, but.. When I put my full on anarchist cap on I say.. I don't really see borders.. They're just imaginary lines.. People should be free to essentially go where ever they want as long as they aren't unjustly harming others or encroaching on other peoples dwellings and property.
If we stole America, then go back to Europe. Stop saying things if you're not going to take responsibility for alleged crimes or whatever the case may be. What happened in South Africa for example? You can compare the USA with South Africa for example. People risked their lives to go to SA and to the USA. But more so, more people have tried to live in America more than other places. Matt Damon is going to Australia it seems. Some said they would leave America and didn't but maybe some do leave sometimes.
Why did England ban Lauren Southern? What is happening in Sweden? Who were behind some of the biggest wars the past four or more centuries? Follow the money to see them. See the Rothschild families and others behind big wars. Look at what happened in 1913 in the USA.
No thanks. I think I can do more help where I am. Though.. I would agree to go back if everyone else did, and someday I may indeed move elsewhere. I do think eventually we should give them their land back. That would be the best and most honorable thing to do.

Not just with you but others and.. I'm about to call it, so.. Maybe we can continue this another time. You are using opinions to justify the invasion of another country. Now you bring slavery, another wrongdoing by the nation you call America today. Civil wars fought for the freedom of slaves. You cannot justify a wrong with opinion. The people of America were invaded by Europeans. The native people were wiped out and refused any rights. Justification by the manipulation of words does not turn wrong to right. As for what you say to read, Who Wrote it?
Slavery is happening right now in the year 2018 especially in the Middle East and most people don't talk about and don't really think or know enough about that and slavery has been happening for thousands of years by and from and for and through all colors of people, all races, black people, white people, yellow people, brown people, Asian people, European people, African people, people on islands, people in north, central, and south America, and white people were helping in changing things for the first time in history, mostly some of the white people, the past 2 or so centuries, and that was very big, and you can watch videos about that by @Stefan.Molyneux and other people too and it so good to know what I am talking about and millions of people know what I am talking about and I am praying they tell you more about this because you either know this and are lying or you may not really realize what I am talking about and maybe you have a disconnect.
That's the same thing as what I have said and if you read my blogs I speak out against it and I also offer alternatives. The whole planet is in slavery to financial debt. Not all native nation no, and if their land had not been stolen, They could still be doing so now. And this does not compare to the genocide they suffered. They were all present on the land and fought among themselves with arrows. Invaders came with guns and rifles. How they lived before has nothing to do with the genocide they suffered at the hands of invaders. Where not the Europeans at constant war between themselves too?

What do you think about IQ, DNA, statistics, patterns? Are we supposed to ignore the patterns we see today, each day, and as we look back one day, two day, a year, a decade, a century, and more and more into the past, into history, and as we look at different versions of histories, of history, written by natives, by invaders, by all kinds of people, we see certain things which we may continue to see today as well, especially as we study anthropology, psychology, sociology, and it is great to connect dots and to talk about what we see.
