Of the 18 shootings'

2 were suicides, one in a parking lot and one in a bathroom -

The 18 shootings were committed at a mixture of high schools and college universities. Not all of these “school shootings” should be classified as such in my opinion, especially the accidental shots and stray bullets. You could also argue the suicides and the gun fights that happened near campuses, but I don’t know if those fights involved students and how close to campus they were.
