Depressing Signs of Inequality
I write many posts about injustice and inequality because I suspect that Steemians, who favor a decentralize system, would sympathize. There's more depressing news: generation wealth or poverty pretty much determines your fate. Behold this chart that shows the correlation between your parents' wealth and your prospects:
The US likes to act like a classless society. How many teachers or bosses invite you to happy hour and talk to you like your BFF? They could be making 10x your pleb wages but hey, they watch football on the weekends just like you. Greed perpetuates this inequality. Look at all the money the top 1% has squirrel away in offshore accounts! Pretending it doesn't exist is pointless. We need a revolution.

There’s a simple solution. Simply tax the land. It fixes the underlying problem and makes the economy healthy. Earned income doesn’t need to be taxed. Instead unearned income needs to get collected by the government. Simple, isn’t it?
