The working principle of medium frequency induction furnace is to convert electrical energy into heat energy by using the principle of electromagnetic induction.

When the medium frequency power supply provides medium frequency alternating current to the induction coil, an alternating magnetic field will be generated around the coil.

The metal charge placed in the coil will generate an induced electromotive force under the action of the alternating magnetic field, thereby forming a closed induced current (eddy current) inside the metal charge. Since the metal charge itself has resistance, Joule heat will be generated when the eddy current passes through the resistance, causing the metal charge to heat up rapidly until it melts. Medium frequency induction furnace has the following applications:

Used for smelting various cast irons, cast steels, non-ferrous metals, etc., to provide high-quality molten metal for casting production.
