Difference Between Natural Sciences and Social Sciences
Science in principle is a knowledge derived from experience and observation in everyday life and continued with a careful and thorough thinking using various methods commonly used in scientific research (observation, experiments, surveys, case studies, and others).
Social Sciences is the science that studies or examines social problems in a society that are expected to provide basic knowledge and general understanding of concepts developed to study human problems.
Social sciences (social science) aim to examine the regularities contained in the relationship between humans. To study this, scientific methods are used as loans from natural sciences.
Difference between Natural Sciences and Social Sciences
Natural science limits itself by only discussing observable natural symptoms. Whereas social science is a science that limits itself to the symptoms of human life, whether symptoms are physical or not. Included in the natural sciences are physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and medical science. While those who enter the social sciences are sociology, anthropology, psychology, politics, and others. Natural science has repeated observations. Natural science observes natural phenomena with the five senses, and also that observation can be repeated by others with repeated observations until there is no doubt the truth.
While social science is developing very slowly because of difficulties in observation. Unlike natural sciences which are able to observe natural phenomena closely and directly through sensory media, social science is very difficult to use direct observation, that is true that social scientists observe their symptoms through touching, kissing, or tasting symptoms that have occurred in the past.
