Dead Body Show....! A strange Indonesian Event
Wow i was amazed rather shocked after reading about a strange ritual of Indonesia. I am much excited to share this informative post with you my steemian friends.
In Indonesia there is an ethnic group called "TORAJA" who dig graves of their dead relatives every year and dress them in new lush clothes after washing them.
Toraja people believe that dead people should visit the place of their death every year otherwise they will be in pain so they perform this ritual religiously each year in September.
This ritual is known as "Ma'nene" means "washing of dead bodies".They bury dead after mummification to prevent them from decomposition.
People make photos of their dead relatives. Buy toys for dead kids and bury those with them.
In this photo a dead kid standing with his dead mother.
