Indonesia has a variety of extraordinary natural beauty that is not owned by other countries. One of them, which you can make this year's holiday destination is Lake Toba. Lake Toba is located in the mountains of Bukit Barisan, North Sumatra. The extent of 1,145 square kilometers makes it the largest lake in Southeast Asia and is larger than Singapore [716 km]. Lake Toba is also the largest lake in the world formed from volcanic eruptions and included in the list of Guinness World Records.
Background Lake Toba formed due to volcanic eruptions that spewed 2.800 km cubic eruption material, thus making the crater is gradually filled with water into the lake. 4. Tomok village

The number of ancient tombs and artifacts from the megalithic era makes the location of Tomok Village as one of the cultural sites of Batak culture that tourists want to visit. There is a stone tomb or sarcophagus which is a trace of the life history of the king of the famous powers in the region.

5. Efrata waterfall

Efrata waterfall has a strong spill. Even stronger in the rainy season. The height is about 25-26 meters and has a width of 10 m. The source of its water comes from the Bukit Barisan mountains. Once in the location, you can feel the cool atmosphere. Not to mention the amazing background features. There are some facilities such as toilets and small huts. Because it has not been managed to the fullest, you may be disappointed with the facilities that are here. Hopefully, local governments pay more attention to this tourist spot.

This waterfall has an unspoiled beauty. You can play near water or explore nearby attractions. On several occasions, there are local sand miners. They are actually villagers of Sosor Dolok. For many, their presence is a hassle. That's because you can not change clothes comfortably because of those people. Another problem is its location. You need to see your steps as you reach the waterfall. The road is not so smooth. Fortunately, Efrata Falls is located near the local neighborhood. You can even ask their help to accompany you to the waterfall.
