cigun ini mirip sekali dengan burung ciblek semi, hanya saja cigun tidak memiliki alis dan ciblek semi memiliki alis dan ekor cigun lebih panjang dari ciblek semi dan warna bulu ciblek semi ada corak putih di bagian sayap sedangkan cigun warna nya polos, ciblek semi dan cigun harga nya pun berbeda lebih mahal ciblek semi di banding cigun karena ciblek semi pernah ada kontes nya namun cigun hanya sebagai burung masteran saja
