In 1987, Meuria Paloh village established an Islamic Educational Institution namely Pesantren Nurul Muftadi which is salafiah, educational institution was initiated by some community leaders, namely Tgk.H.M.Thaib Mahmud, Tgk. Imum Syik Abdullah, Tgk.HTZanal Arifin and supported by his students are Paloh residents such as Drs.Tgk.H.Ramli Amin, Tgk.H.Ansari Daud, Tgk.H.Yusuf Syeh and Imam Meunsah residence of Paloh as well as the community others.

In line with the development of the era and the need for formal education, especially for parents who have not been able to send their children to Lhokseumawe and other big cities, initiated by some educational community leaders such as Tgk.Zakaria ZA, Zainal Abidin, MK, Abubakar Karim, SH , Tgk.Yusuf Syeh, Tgk.Ramli Amin, Tgk. Ansari Daud, TMAmin Ibrahim, Tarmizi, ZA, Tgk.H.Yahya Blang Pulo and other public figures succeeded in establishing a Private Tsunamiyah Madrasah (MTsS) which was inaugurated by the Head of LHokseumawe Ministry of Religious Affairs Office in 1989. In the course of this MTsS experiencing various obstacles, especially in terms of procurement of Teachers and financing operating costs so that later this MTsS join under the umbrella of the legal entity Misbahul Ulum Foundation.
