Bangladesh will give another list of Rohingya people to Myanmar

Bangladesh is going to give another list to Myanmar for the withdrawal of Rakhine Rohingya. There will be 5 to 10 thousand Rohingya names in the second list for repatriation.

This was decided at a preparatory meeting of the second joint working group formed for the repatriation of Rohingya in the Foreign Ministry on Wednesday. Foreign Secretary In the chairmanship of Shahidul Haque, the meeting was held in his office.
Asked about the meeting, Refugee Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner Mohammad Abul Kalam said in the first light, "After verification, the names given in the first list from Myanmar will be worked out. Along with this, the second list is being prepared for Myanmar.
Asked to give another list of all names in the first list before final confirmation, Abul Kalam said, along with a list, will be given as well as another list. And it's a process of running. He said there will be 5 to 10 thousand Rohingya names in the next list.
Asked whether the names of Rohingyas have been named after the Myanmar inspection, the Rehabilitation Commissioner said, "We will investigate it."
In fact, on February 16, at the Home Minister level meeting of the two countries, Bangladesh gave the first list of 832 Rohingya families of 1,673 families to Myanmar. So far, the 570 Rohingya names of Myanmar have been verified by giving the return list to Bangladesh.
A senior diplomat present in the meeting told the reporter that the second meeting of the Joint Working Group headed by the foreign secretaries of the two countries formed for repatriation will be held in Dhaka in the last week of next month. In addition, for the withdrawal of Rohingya, the agreement with the United Nations Refugee Organization is almost final. It may be signed next week.

On August 25 last year, seven lakh Rohingyas fled to Bangladesh due to the Myanmar army attack in Rakhine. Earlier, about three lakh Rohingya were staying in Bangladesh.
