Beach Number 1 - Kelingking Beach

BEHIND THE SHOT -

I drove 1 hour and a half on my scooter (from the north of the island) to find that the sun was already setting. A man told me not to go down to the beach as it would take "too long". I didn't listen, and made the sketchy climb down to the white sands.

I enjoyed the fact that there were only 3 people down there and soaked up the sunset on the way back up. Thats when i turned around to face one of the best sunsets of my life and grabbed this snap.

Beach Number 2 - Broken Beach

BEHIND THE SHOT -

The road to broken beach will break you, your bike and your spirit. But once you get there, it will be so worth it.

It took me a solid 2 hours to drive here (from the north of the island) which was a journey to say at the least. The road here is "broken", so be prepared to have a sore behind, numb hands, and a flat tyre from the bumpy rocks and sketchy paths you will have to take.

(BONUS) - If you come to "Broken Beach" you can also see "Angel's Billabong" as they are located 2 minutes walk away from eachother.

Beach Number 3 - Atuh Beach

BEHIND THE SHOT -

A solid 1 hour and 30 minutes to the east coast of the island will bring you to this magical place ! One of the more popular beaches in Nusa Penida, I came at 8am and there were already people at the beach. With places to chill and food on the beach it was more commercialised but it was still beautiful. I grabbed this snap on the far left side of the beach looking out to the amazing coastal structure.

Just a heads up also, the stairs down to here are steep ! So go slow !

Summary -

If your looking for beaches with high cliffs and ridiculous journey's too them, then this is your island. I recommend spending at-least 3 nights on this magical island to give yourself the best chance of seeing these wonderful beaches and more...
