AC Milan Wants to Widen China
AC Milan want to spread its wings to China. The Rossoneri are rumored to be building a football school and other facilities in the Bamboo Curtain Country.
The Serie A giants were bought by a consortium led by Yonghong Li in April. The entry of new investors makes Milan jor-rod during the transfer market this summer where they've spent 200 million euros (about Rp 3.156 trillion).
According to La Repubblica, Milan not only have plans to buy top players. Il Diavolo is also considering extending his influence to China.
The newspaper revealed about a 39-page document outlining the club's grand plans of the fashion city. They will build a "Milan Village" in China, which is equipped with hotel facilities, museums, shops and restaurants.
In addition, there will be a stadium, golf course, medical center and video analysis center.
Milan hope their brand is deeply rooted in China after seeing the development of football in the country. Moreover, the Beijing government is working to get them to host the 2030 World Cup and set a goal of winning the four-year event in 2050.
