The verse above we often hear the children sung in Aceh, Indonesia. The poem describes the courage of the Acehnese when picking coconuts on a tall tree. The traditional way of installing a rope circle in the foot has been done coconut picker in Aceh since time immemorial. The rope attached to the foot by the coconut picker in Aceh is called "Seuneukreut" in Aceh. Formerly rope seuneukreut made of coconut husk, coconut climbers are now more comfortable to wear old shirts as a rope seuneukreut to the level of coconut. As in the picture below:

Bait syair diatas sering kita dengarkan dinyanyikan anak – anak di Aceh, Indonesia. Syair tersebut menggambarkan keberanian orang Aceh ketika memetik kelapa di pohon yang tinggi. Cara tradisional memasang lingkaran tali di kaki telah dilakukan pemetik kelapa di Aceh sejak dahulu kala. Tali yang dipasang di kaki oleh pemanjat kelapa di Aceh disebut Seuneukreut dalam bahasa Aceh. Dahulu tali seuneukreut terbuat dari sabut kelapa, sekarang ini pemanjat kelapa lebih nyaman menggunakan baju kaos tua sebagai tali seuneukreut untuk memajat kelapa. Sebatang besi bulat yang ujungnya di buat menjadi runcing dan tipis. Sundak tidak dapat digunakan oleh semua orang, karena bisa berbahaya, jika buah kelapa terpeleset dari Sundak akan mengenai perut anda. Kulit kelapa hasil kupasan oleh pemetik di Provinsi Aceh, belum dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan sabut kelapa, tetapi dibuang begitu saja. Terkadang ada juga yang digunakan untuk dibakar sebagai perapian sapi atau kambing. Keterbatasan ilmu pengetahuan dan tidak tersedianya pemasaran serta tidak tumbuhnya usaha di bidang pengelolaan sabut kelapa, sehingga banyak kulit kelapa tidak digunakan dan dibuang begitu saja, padahal potensi ini patut dikembangkan oleh Pemerintah, karena komoditi sabut kelapa dapat menjadi salah satu komoditi ekspor keluar negeri untuk bahan pengganti busa kursi dan sebagainya.

Dahulu Kelapa di Aceh digunakan untuk santan bahan masakan dan untuk membuat minyak kelapa. Sekarang kelapa Aceh dijual keluar dari provinsi Aceh. Setelah kelapa dipetik dan dikupas kemudian oleh pemiliknya, kelapa dijual kepada agen pengumpul kelapa yang dibeli dengan harga Rp2.500/Kg.
