Can You Help Me To Choose The Right (Steemit) Witness?
Honestly, I do not understand the specific of witness task or function on steemit platform. The FAQ which steemit provide to give description about witness does not give specific explanation for common people who do not have a deep knowledge on computer or program language .
I feel that many witness race to become top fifty as steemit witness, so some of them try to approach certain community to get their support. Personally, I do not want give a wrong vote for choosing a witness. Do you have an idea how to choose the right witnesses? Can you give me the criteria the good witnesses who can give a positive support for our steemit community?(hpx)

Jujur saja, saya tidak mengerti spesifik tugas atau fungsi witness pada platform steemit. FAQ yang diberikan steemit untuk memberikan deskripsi tentang witness, tidak memberikan penjelasan khusus untuk orang awam yang tidak memiliki pengetahuan mendalam mengenai komputer atau bahasa program.
Saya merasa bahwa banyak witness ingin menjadi top 50 sebagai witness, sehingga beberapa dari mereka mencoba mendekati komunitas tertentu untuk mendapatkan dukungan mereka. Secara pribadi, saya tidak ingin memberikan suara yang salah dalam memilih seorang witness. Apakah Anda punya ide bagaimana memilih witnessyang tepat? Dapatkah Anda memberi saya kriteria witness yang baik dan dapat memberikan dukungan positif bagi komunitas steemit kita?(hpx)
Jujur saya katakan juga. Saya juga mengerti tapi pernah sekali saya dengar dari steemian di daerah saya sebagai saksi atas kebenaran akun yang kita gunakan. Terlepas dari benar atau tidaknya, saya hanya mengikuti saja. Dan langsung masuk ke vote witness untuk memilih mereka padahal belum tentu mereka melihat pemilihnya.
witness bukan sebagai saksi mengenai benar atau tidaknya akun kita, sepengetahuan saya mereka sebagai pihak yang menjaga terjadinya stabilitas sistem blockchain steemit

Yes bro! I wrote about this a while ago here and in that post there is some ideas. Also the link to the drakos list is a great resource because from it you can click on each witness and read about their projects and personality.
Sure it takes a lot of time to research and learn about what they stand for and the values they keep. Though with a little reading per day it's possible. I personally think it's one of the best things we are community can do to shape how the platform runs and how it serves the whole.
I also thank you for posting this question because one thing I found to be equally important is that we revise and stay informed on the witnesses we vote for as well as new up and coming ones.
I've seen what happens to some of the early ones and how SP transforms some visions. I also seen many witnesses who are not in the top 20 who actually DELIVER on so much for the community as well as the wider whole.
Those are some incredible minds and for me I feel they deserve as much support and respect as they can get to be the representatives of our network.

yes, we have the same idea. Many witnesses who not on 20 top witnesses list give good contribution to our steemit community. So I think to give a vote for non-twenty top witnesses list to encuoraged and respect their effort also as representation our voice :)
Saya setuju dengan anda. Sayapun demikian, ada yang bilang witnes pendukung newbie tapi pada kenyataannya tidak demikian.

sama saya juga ragu, banyak yang ngomong mau bantu newbie tapi kenyataannya kebanyakan mereka hanya mau dapat suara kita buat jadi top witness.
Nggak saya PD jadi witness musti butuh PC minimal dengan RAM 24 GB dan harus nyala... boros dibiaya listrik...ha..ha.. :D
