tirto.id - People in western Indonesia can witness the rare phenomena of supermoon on January 31, 2018 at around 20:26 WIB, when the moon has reached the peak phase, or full moon, based on the schedule that can be seen at timeanddate.com.

People in Central Indonesia, can see the supermoon at 21:26 WITA, and 22:26 WIT for the people in eastern Indonesia.

However, the best time to see the supermoon is shortly after the moonrise or when the moon just emerges from the horizon line. On January 31, the moonrise in Indonesia is estimated to occur at 18:08 pm.

Moonrise in Central Indonesia at 18:36 WITA, and in eastern Indonesia at 17.42 WIT.

According to NASA, the supermoon on January 31 is the best supermoon from the previous show. The reason, this time supermoon along with lunar eclipse and became the second supermoon in January 2018.
