Expand the limit of patience, Is it possible?
Of course we have often heard the advice that, one of the things that will help us in life is "patience". The follow-up advice from that advice is that, "patience has no limits". With regard to this follow-up advice, I think enough in. Because in reality, many people lose their patience. Some are angry, angry, attacking, destroying, being very aggressive. How about that? ... Said patience has no limits? Frankly, my understanding shifts to, "patience has limits". Because patience has limits, we are encouraged not to anger others. In service, we are encouraged to hurry, because the patience of consumers / customers is the limit. If it is patient, there is no limit, let's just do whatever we want, like it others won't go berserk.
For me, the real fact is, patience has limits. Then ideally? Ideally, patience has no limits. But sometimes, between ideality and reality, there is a gap that is far enough. My deep reflection continues. I ask myself, "what makes the temper people are limited? "After I looked carefully at myself, it turned out that the limit of patience was, to what extent we were able to accept events. The lower the ability to accept someone, the lower the quality of one's patience. The higher the ability to accept someone, the higher also the quality of patience. When you are told, "you are stupid !!", why can you be angry? you are angry because you did not accept those words. If you can accept, you will not be angry. As if you were told, "you are great !!"you will not be angry, because you received it.
I actually have an answer, to the reflection that I conveyed in the second paragraph. So, my homework, to be more patient, is to strengthen and practice the ability to accept ... Accept, not real or not. When You are said, "You're smart !!", even though you were not smart at first, the proof is that you are happy? Even though it doesn't fit the reality that exists in you. Acceptance has nothing to do with, is it true or not? After I think about it, the reason is, "my desire is strong". When you say, "you are stupid !!", why are you angry? Because you WANT to be said to be smart. Why are you offended when you say, "You are ugly !!" Because you WANT to be said, "you are beautiful".
Yes, it turns out that after being immersed in depth, the discussion was everywhere. It turns out, the limit of patience, is the ability to accept. And the reason for the inability to accept is desire. If all this time we are less patient, our patience very short. So indeed, the root of our impatience is, "so strong are we in grasping our desires". People who have wide limits of patience, are people whose ability to receive is great. And people the ability to receive it is great, are people who are not too tightly grasping the desires in him. As long as you hold strong "desires are said to be smart", then at any time, you will not be able to accept, when you are called stupid. In the end, it can be ascertained, you will definitely lose patience, if it is considered stupid.
