Desa Bueng secara administratif masuk wilayah kecamatan kota jantho kabupaten aceh besar dan secara geografis desa Bueng merupaka salah satu desa yang terletak di kaki gunung dengan radius 10 km dari ibukota kecamatan. Jumlah kepala keluarga yang mendiami desa bueng sebanyak 55 kepala keluarga dengan mata pencaharian masyarakat pada umumnya petani dan peternak yang di dukung dengan tersedianya lahan pertanian sawah yang cukup luas dan sumber air yang melimpah berasal dari sungai kaluek yang berjarak 7 km ke desa.

Luas wilayah desa bueng secara keseluruhan 930 Ha, dengan lahan pertanian produktif seluas 47 Ha, dengan ada nya pertanian produktif tersebut warga desa bueng pada umum nya belum dapat memanfaat kan secara optimal sejalan belum terpenuhi nya prasarana pendukung yang berupa jaringan irigasi yang memadai.

Desa bueng terbagi atas du dusun yaitu dusun kupula dan dusun ujung blang, masing - masing dusun memiliki jaringan irigasi / saluran yang belum permanen sehingga cukup menghambat terhadap proses penggarapan lahan pertanian, akhirnya masyarakat desa bueng bahu membahu jaringan irigasi yang permanen untuk kepentingan mereka bersama
