The Flat Earth "Bigotry" in Indonesia

in this 21st century, there are people who actually believe that the earth is a flat plane with the moon and sun revolve around it instead of a spinning ball revolving around the sun.

these people who call themselves the flat earth society has spread their ideas so called the modern flat earth theory years ago, but the phenomenon has just entered here in Indonesia recently with the appearance of a youtube channel named Flat Earth 101. the channel is administered and owned by a blogger calling himself "BOSSDARLING" who makes videos based on the 'theories'. what makes this 'theory' a hype in Indonesia is his youtube channel and videos in it which is delivered in Indonesian.

in the 'theory' it is stated that the earth is not a planet but instead a static, flat plane. the earth is inside an infinite plane which is bordered by the antarctic wall and the firmament which, they claim, cannot be penetrated by anything - except with the help of god. they often (or always) relate their 'theory' with religious dogma, whether by quranic text or biblical verses. they don't believe the earth photos taken from the space, and claim the photos are CGI. what a denial.

I know that the flat earth 'phenomenon' has vanished out there worldwide, but here our people are so easily brainwashed and they tend to believe what they think is interesting without any further observation.

after all, conspiracy theories always seem to be interesting, to those who are not fond of learning. come on people, you have been brainwashed.
