While I want to write the most beautiful places in the whole country, like there will be no end. From the west end to the eastern end, the charm of the beauty of the country that is right on the equator is clearly visible like a stones stone. It reflects a shimmering light like a pearl.

Some places already wrote in my previous post. This time I want to raise about the beauty of Three Color Lake which is above the peak of Mount Flores in Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara Province.

There seems to be no other place that can match the beauty of this magical lake. In addition to located in the crater of the peak of the volcano, this lake also has a different color.

The natural beauty offered on top of this mountain has long been widely known by world travelers. Even from some notes, the lake located in Pemo Village, Kelimutu Sub-district, Ende District, NTT, has been popular long before independence.

But despite offering the beauty for tourists, for the local community, this lake is considered haunted. According to them, every part of the lake, according to its color has its own function and power. And the color of the lake that is located at an altitude of 1,640 meters above sea level it will also keep changing. The change in these three lakes since 1915 has reached 44 times.

The government has made this area as Lake Kelimutu Nature Reserve since 1984. Then on February 26, 1992 set again into the National Nature Conservation Area. To arrive at this conservation site, we only need about two hours from the city of Ende.

Danau Tiga Warna, Pantulan Keindahan Puncak Gunung Kelimutu

Menulis tempat-tempat terindah di seluruh negeri ini, seperti tak akan ada habisnya. Dari ujung barat sampai ke ujung timur, pesona keindahan negeri yang berada tepat di garis khatulistiwa ini terlihat jelas seperti batu manikam. Memantulkan cahaya yang kemilau seperti mutiara.

Sudah beberapa tempat yang saya tulis dalam postingan saya sebelumnya. Kali ini saya ingin mengangkat tentang keindahan Danau Tiga Warna yang berada di atas puncak Gunung Kelimutu di Pulau Flores, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. 

Sepertinya tak ada tempat lain yang mampu menyamai keindahan danau ajaib ini. Selain terletak di kawah puncak gunung berapi, danau ini pun memiliki warna yang berbeda-beda.

Keindahan alam yang ditawarkan di atas puncak gunung ini sudah lama dikenal luas oleh wisatawan dunia. Bahkan dari beberapa catatan, danau yang terletak di Desa Pemo, Kecamatan Kelimutu, Kabupaten Ende, NTT ini, sudah populer jauh sebelum kemerdekaan.

Namun meski menawarkan keindahan bagi wisatawan, bagi masyarakat setempat, danau ini dianggap angker. Menurut mereka, setiap bagian dari danau itu, sesuai warnanya memiliki fungsi dan kekuatannya masing-masing. Dan warna danau yang berada pada ketinggian 1.640 meter di atas permukaan laut itu juga akan terus berubah-ubah. Perubahan pada tiga danau ini sejak tahun 1915 sudah mencapai 44 kali.

Pemerintah telah menjadikan kawasan ini sebagai Kawasan Cagar Alam Danau Kelimutu sejak tahun 1984. Kemudian pada 26 Februari 1992 ditetapkan lagi menjadi Kawasan Konservasi Alam Nasional. Untuk tiba di lokasi konservasi ini, kita hanya butuh waktu sekitar dua jam dari Kota Ende.
