1. Faktor Penyebab Terjadinya Kerjasama Pengelolaan Tambak

   Berdasarkan hasil wawancara penulis dengan para pemilik tambak di Gampong Merbo Lama Kecamatan Lapang dapat penulis simpulkan ada beberapa hal yang menjadi faktor pemilik lahan tambak di Gampong Merbo Lama Kecamatan Lapang lebih memilih melakukan kerjasama dengan pihak lain dalam mengelola tambaknya dibandingkan dengan mengelolanya sendiri, yaitu :
   a. Luasnya lahan tambak yang dimiliki
   Pemilik tambak memilki lahan tambak yang luas sehingga tidak sanggup mengelola keseluruhan lahan tambaknya sendiri sehingga memilih menyerahkan pengelolaan tambaknya kepada orang lain beberapa petak tambaknya, seperti penuturan Bapak Ishak “Tambak ini saya serahkan untuk dikeloa orang lain karena luasnya lebih dari 5 hektar, sehingga saya kewalahan tidak punya waktu, dan tidak mampu untuk merawat semuanya dengan baik “
   b. Mempunyai pekerjaan atau usaha lain
   Pemilik tambak mempunyai pekerjaan tetap seperti pedagang dan pegawai swasta (bekerja di Exxon Mobil), sehingga tidak mempunyai waktu yang cukup untuk mengelola tambaknya sendiri.

c. Memenuhi permintaan dan menolong saudara
Pemilik lahan tambak menyerahkan lahan tambaknya kepada pihak lain dengan mekanisme kerjasama karena memenuhi permintaan saudaranya dengan tujuan menolong saudaranya yang tidak punya lahan agar memilki usaha, seperti penuturan Bapak Muzakir kepada penulis “kebetulan saudara saya meminta saya untuk menyerahkan sepetak tambak saya untuk beliau kelola, saya penuhi permintaannya, sebagai saudara tentunya saya wajib menolong beliau agar tidak menganggur”
d. Kesehatan dan usia pemilik tambak
Faktor umur pemilik tambak yang sudah tua sehingga kesehatannya sudah tidak prima lagi menyebabkan pemiliknya memilih melakukan kerjasama dengan pihak lain lahan tambaknya daripada mengelolanya sendiri, sedangkan pemilik lahan tambak tetap mendapakan hasil sesuai kesepakatan tanpa harus mengeluarkan tenaga dan menghabiskan waktu untuk mengelola tambaknya. sebagaimana yang diungkapkan oleh Tgk. Zainuddin sebagai berikut “Saya menyerahkan tambak saya untuk dikelola pihak lain karena sudah tidak sanggup lagi mengurusnya sendiri, saya sudah sering sakit-sakitan, maklum saja umur saya sudah lebih 70 tahun, anak saya semuanya merantau, daripada terbengkalai lebih baik tambaknya saya serahkan kepada orang lain”
