the discovery of technology from nature
a picture of a series of firefly lights
Greetings, how are you steemit friends? Nice to meet you again and hopefully healthy always. Today I will discuss about the inspiration from nature, so today we will discuss about light. As we know that light is a tool that is mostly illuminated throughout nature, light also serves to illuminate the world,
So why? Because of the many discoveries that exist in our daily lives, it takes its inspiration from nature.Should we get closer to these animals.
We live in an age where technology is very advanced. ancient people used to make light with stones to turn on fire, but now we can turn on lights or light with electricity.Human beings are very dependent on what nature provides, but in today's era does not mean it has faded.Yep, a sophisticated invention, but they mimic the uniqueness that can be found in nature. And of course, the original version originating from nature is certainly more amazing than the original.
There are many wonders to be seen in the animal world, one of which is the flame of a firefly. This is a single experience, like a handful of dwarf stars thrown from the sky, falling off and floating between grass and thorns. From this animal the engineer designed the technology to turn on the lights like fireflies,Fireflies are the nocturnal animals of the members of Lampyridae, the family of insects in the Coleoptera beetle, or a winged beetle. Yes, they are really beetles. The family name Lampyridae comes from the Greek word "lampein", which means shining, like a lamp.
Fireflies do not actually turn base metals into gold like alchemists, but they create light as if by magic.
When a chemical called luciferin in their stomach / tail is combined with oxygen, calcium and adenosine triphosphate, chemical reactions occur and produce spectacular light, Because, the light generated by fireflies is the most efficient light ever made by research. Nearly 100 percent of the energy in a chemical reaction is emitted as light; as a comparison, Incandescent light bulbs only emit 10 percent of the energy as light, the other 90 percent lost as heat.
They illuminate the underground world
While it is true that many insect larvae live underground, baby firefly beat them by dividing "neat tricks";some species emit an underground light.
CONCLUSION
Nature has provided various types of technology that is very useful and environmentally friendly, such as fireflies that are now known to be strong to illuminate the underground rather than the lights of the world.
Such light is produced by the yellow-kunag through the body or its back with a complicated and very unique process, the light has different functions and as needed.
Research result, Nearly 100 percent of the energy in a chemical reaction is emitted as light; as a comparison, Incandescent light bulbs only emit 10 percent of the energy as light, the other 90 percent lost as heat.
Keep in mind that fireflies do not study chemistry, physics and other knowledge formally as humans do, but they know it naturally or instinctively.
Currently the scientists are still researching so that the future is expected this technology is getting better.

Great article and analysis, nice to see more science related posts here on Steemit. So much potential for merging the wonders of our natural world into scientific applications and this is a perfect example. The great inventors and thinkers throughout history have found inspiration for their work from the world around us... we need more of that these days.
yes thank you for participating in my stemeet
