Therefore, individualism, which is associated with the idea of libertarianism to a certain extent, considers the private life of an individual to be a value that must be strictly protected.

On the other hand, it evaluates social life, which it considers to be a value against it, as a force that hinders the individual to a significant degree. As a result, individualism is in contrast to the socialist world view.

The individualist worldview is a reaction to the Christian worldview that was prevalent throughout the entire Middle Ages. It evolved during the Renaissance as a result of this opposition.

In actuality, its history dates back far further. This age-old tendency, which places an emphasis on the individual, which is bolstered by private property and distinguished in society, above society, was moulded throughout the Renaissance and became active as a worldview in a variety of subjects, ranging from metaphysics to economics.
