Submit Your Music to Busker.fm it's the new Pandora for Local Artists
Busker.fm was cofounded by a good friend of mine and a fellow musician I did many shows and recorded many songs with. Busker is like a portal/search engine where you can enter a song and and then describe your music by listing 3 bands that are similar sounding. When people use the search engine to search for a favorite band they will get suggestions of bands that maybe they would otherwise never get to hear!!! You can also skip to or go back when looking for Artists that Busker has recommended for you. This is a great idea for the little guy recording songs in Alberta, Canada, Chiang Mai, Thailand or even Lansing, Mi. People from around the world now have the opportunity to hear your songs with no cost to either party, but they can be directed to your website or youtube channel to check out more music or make a purchase or download. Busker.fm caters both to fans and musicians alike and evens the playing field for all bands and songwriters to get free exposure to the masses for free! below is the link for the Submit page. Submitting a song literally takes 2 minutes!
you will need to submit a url linking the music back to Youtube. If you have songs on youtube you are ready to
roll, if not just take a track and upload it to youtube, use your logo, social media links and put some meta tags in. Copy
the URL and paste it in the first field on the submit page. Once you do that it will have fields to fill in for the Song Name, Artist Name, Hometown, Website, and most importantly? the three bands you most sound like!
