Named the most haunted village in UK by Guinness world records,And according to them, the village has about 12 to 16 ghosts,One of the most popular ghosts is the screaming man. He is said to have worked in the village and was unfortunate to have fallen to his death. There is also the highwayman who was said to be killed with a sword and was pinned to a tree in what is now known as Fright Corner. He now appears to locals and visitors as a shadowy figure. On other occasions, the ghost of an elderly woman can be seen. It is believed that she accidentally set herself on fire while she was sleeping.

One of Australia's largest abandoned lunatic asylum.Opened in 1867, and since then Over 13,000 people were estimated to have died there, and not always due to natural causes.People who visited this site experienced weird sensations, being touched, feeling cold and loud bangs from parts of the building that are unoccupied.There is also a rumour that a little girl who died on the third floor loved her music box, and to this day, there are claims that visitors have heard music playing on some nights, just before or at midnight.

According to the story,One day a young girl escaped her burning barn near the tunnel with her clothes on fire ablaze, she sought the water which ran through it. She managed to reach the tunnel; but it was too late, and she died from severe burns within.The tunnel was used as a set during the filming of 1983 film adaptation of Stephen King's horror novel The Dead Zone.

2)Penang War Museum (Ghost Hill), Malaysia

Named as one of Asia’s most haunted sites by National Geographic Channel, Penang War Museum or more popularly knows as Ghost Hill.The museum was originally built as a defence fortress in the 1930s but after the Japanese invasion in 1941,it became a prison for enemies of the Japanese and was the site of torture and beheadings. It’s said that a particularly cruel Japanese officer is one of the ghosts that wanders the site.

The legend around Bhangarh told a story about a tantrik , who fell in love with Princess. He tried to use magic to win over her, but the princess got to know of his evil plans and ordered to get him killed. Before the tantrik died, he too, cursed the residents of the fort to die and the village dwellers to remain roofless forever.
Today, it is said that anyone who enters the city at night will never come out again, and paranormal activity is thought to be concentrated around this Place.
