Hello steemians and members of IndiaUnited. Hope you are all wonderful. After a long time we had a meeting yesterday via Hangouts. It was a productive meeting. Thanks to @bobinson, @bala41288, @jatinhota, @vishalsingh49977, @face2face, @sayee and @steemflow who were able to make it to the meeting. Your inputs were highly valuable to take IndiaUnited to next level.

Curation Team

We have been having challenges in the past setting up a curation team to curate posts from IndiaUnited members. If we have a process setup, we will be able to continue with the curation without any ripple. We discussed and agreed that we will need the team set up as soon as possible. Following ideas and points were agreed:

• Create a new channel for nominating posts for Curation. We can name the channel as #nominate-post-for-curation.

• All the members are allowed to curate good quality contents. The link can be shared in #nominate-post-for-curation channel.

• The posts in the channel will be reviewed by the curation team and if selected it will be upvoted by the IndiaUnited bot.

• Self-promotion is not allowed in the channel. If a person is posting their own post in the channel, it will be deleted. (Currently, it will be deleted by the admins, in future this will be automated.)

• We will be curating minimum 3 posts per week.

• The curated post will receive a 100 % upvote from IndiaUnited bot along with the trail votes of members.

• We can gradually get suggestions and help from other discord groups like Curie, Qurator, etc. on enhancing our curation process.

• Curation of posts will happen based on the following criteria.

  • The posts should be long enough with good quality.
  • IndiaUnited tag is mandatory in the post.
  • The post should be plagiarism free.

• Once proper curation process and registration is in place we will stop auto voting from the IndiaUnited bot.

• Swagger bot can be used for free upvote.

Registration

We had a detailed discussion on the registration process. Though we discussed most of it, there are still some grey areas which will be addressed in future meetings.

• @codingdefined is currently working on the technical aspects of getting the registration process up and running. This can be accomplished only if some of the other areas are finalized.

• The application process to get registered - To be finalized.

• Types of registration

  • One time registration - This will not be an option for now.
  • Monthly membership - Members can subscribe or get registered with Indiaunited with a registration fee, that will need renewal on a monthly basis.
  • SP Delegation - Members can also get registered by SP delegation. This topic will also need further discussions to be able to finalize the plan.

• Grey Area - Below are some of the grey areas which needs further offline discussions and clarity. We are saving them for later. Maybe we will get better clarity during next week's discussion.

  • Registration fee (Either through STEEM, SBD or SP Delegation)
  • Membership benefits.
  • Tracking renewal date and sending the notification to the members about renewal.

• Philanthropists - We welcome members who are willing to contribute SBD /STEEM/ SP Delegation without expecting anything in return. It will also be great if members contribute a small amount of SBD every month for IndiaUnited account apart from the registration fee they pay.

• If a post is from a member of Indiaunited, Indiaunited bot will be adding a comment to the post. The message content or template of the comment is yet to be finalized.

Daily Posts by IndiaUnited

For the community to grow, it is highly important to post a content every day from the @indiaunited account. This will help in improving the SP of IndiaUnited and growing the community. We will also be able to get support from dolphins, whales, members all over the world. The following suggestion and points were discussed and finalized.

• A weekly article will be posted featuring the links to the posts that were curated by the Curation team in the previous week.

• Frequent changes and updates from the IndiaUnited team should happen in the form of a post.

• Interview with each member

  • This idea was suggested to create a post every day by Indiaunited, about a person from the group.
  • We will be having an interview with each member of the team.
  • A set of questions for the interview is already available. The questions will be asked of all the members through google docs forms.
  • Members can fill the form and submit.
  • We will be creating a posting template, a post will be made by @indiaunited about a person. (With this plan we are already ready with more than 300 posts.)

• A team will be formed for creating this post every day. The team will contact the member of the day and collect their photographs to be able to create a nice post in IndiaUnited.

Introducing Market channel for IndiaUnited members

This is a concept being used by other community members all over the world. The channel/feature will facilitate users to buy/sell products or services. Though IndiaUnited will not be responsible for anything specific, it is just a facilitation given to the members of the community. PAL is having a similar concept called Swap service where members can do a similar kind of activity.

• Channel has been already created in Discord.
• Our advocate @rzs created a set of guidelines for the same. It will be implemented in the channel. Thanks to @rzs.

Other ideas

Some other ideas were also showered during the meeting. These can be discussed in detail in future meetings and finalized.

• Creating two bots. One bot will be used for curation votes and another bot which can be called Swagger India to do free voting service for all the members.
• Posts by IndiaUnited should be upvoted by the members at least 4-7 times a week.
• As an extension to Marketplace channel, in future, a website can be developed where members can sell photographs, contents, or services.
• The exchange currency can be SBD or STEEM for the marketplace. This is to promote STEEM in India.
• Promote Indian Witnesses.
• Future plan to create a bot for checking and controlling Plagiarism. Either this can be explored as a free option or paid option.

End Line: Of all the plans that we have made, we all agree that execution is the most important step. We have a good plan in hand and we are progressing well. We will work towards execution as soon as possible. We have to work as a team to get this community growing.
