5. Read more books.Consuming the knowledge in a book is like sitting in a room with the author. Being able to read the thoughts and beliefs and processed and experiences of people who made it to positions we are striving to get to, is an amazing opportunity. Try to read at least 1 per month if you hate reading, but really, you can do at least 1 per week.
4. Don't sweat the small stuff.Seriously. It's a waste of time allowing the small trivial things that happen during your day get to you and play on your mind. Learn to block out all of the inconsequential, trivial, waste-of-time stuff. Focus only on your goals and what's important. This includes knowing when to tell people to stop talking!
3. Never be afraid of failure. Ask yourself this key question...Without failure you are not going to succeed. It's the truth. If the thought of failure is the one thing stopping you from getting started on a new project, ask yourself: "Would I regret having tried and failed, more than I would regret not having tried at all?"
2. Write down your goals more frequently.Goal setting is key to self improvement. Without a goal, a target to hit, you really don't know which direction you're moving. You need waypoints, markers, milestones of achievement that tell you you're working hard and you're moving in the right direction. A lot of us work hard without having any goals written down. How do you work out whether you're working hard towards your goals, or away from them? Set goals, then get to work!
1. Never be afraid of investing (or reinvesting) in yourself.This is a real game changer. Every major breakthrough I have had has been the result of investing in a book, a mastermind, a mentor, or something else. Unfortunately, a lot of people think that they don't need help. The reality is: You do. I do. We all do. Spending money on a good course, a book, a mentor, a consultation, a coaching program is worth it. They're like secret shortcuts to the next level. Plus, these are all investments in to becoming a better version of yourself
