15th, August is a proud moment for every Indian. This day is celebrated as a national holiday in India commemorating the nation's independence from the United Kingdom.

On 15th August 1947, legislative sovereignty transferred to the Indian Constituent Assembly by passing Indian Independence Act 1947.

In 1947 August 15, the first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru raised the Indian national flag above the Lahori Gate of the Red Fort in Delhi.

On independence day celebration events take places such as flag hoisting, parade, fireworks, singing, patriotic songs, and many more events which shows Indian culture.

On this proud moment, I am wishing happy independence day to every Indian...
