Indian supreme court to go live on TV

Indian supreme court has decided to livestream its proceedings. This would help Indian judiciary system to move closer to its goal of transparency. This move will also help saving time and resources. The litigants no more have to present in every case and they can moniter the proceedings of their cases on live channel.

This step would help increase people’s confidance in judiciary. It would also benefit judiciary. For past some years it has been in centre of controversies about it’s working but with this decision it has to no longer address these isseus.

Indian Supreme Court is situated in northern India so south Indians have to travel for every case proceeding. Now they can asses their lawyer’s performance on live streaming.
If the live stream is not possible for a case than it’s recordings would be provided later to the people.
