I was born in a family of traditional musicians of South and North Indian genres, particularly emphasizing on the Violin styles of my mentors and teachers. Although I have also been trained in the vocal style of Indian classical music, I have always been focused on the art, technique, genre specificity and handling of the Violin to make it suitable in its maximum capacity to accommodate all the nuances, intricacies and subtleties of the vocal style renowned as "Gaayaki-Ang".
