Pandav Caves are formed from Five Hilltop Caves hence it is said that the name of hill station Panchmari (Pachmadhi) is drawn with respect to the Pandav Caves

The name Pandav Caves Is given to this place because according to Mahabharata (Sanskrit epics of ancient India), when the Five acknowledged sons of Pandu are Disguised from their palace, they spent their maximum time (Time of Agyatvas) there inside that caves.These five sons called Yudhishthira, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula and Sahadeva stayed in each of five caves with the wife of Arjuna called Draupadi.

The surrounding environment around the Pandav Caves
is developed from the heart and soul. Everywhere there are various varieties of flowers and trees.The whole construction is made around various garden areas flowing our hearts full with love and calmness....

When we arrived at Pandav Caves it is seen that at every interval of 25min to 30min,the rains started instantly making the whole environment green and heart touching cold winds flows over the colourful flowers and start touching our soft cheeks feeling us relaxed and free from every tense things in our day to day lives....

This is one of the most epic and beautiful place in Panchmari. Hence after visiting to the hill station, be sure to visit the Pandav Caves.It will definitely support you to enter in your dream world for some short period of time....
