Fatehsagar : Heart of Lakecity
Fatehsagar is an artificial lake situated in Udaipur, Rajasthan. It was named after Maharana Fateh Singh of Mewar. It is of 4 square km in area with a maximum depth of 44 feet. Between of it is built an island named Nehru garden full of grenary with water on it four sides with some fountaions and solar observatory. Nehru Garden is accesible by motor boats. It is major souce of water for drinking and daily uses for the population of city. There are also some stalls present at corner of roads which provide employement to rural or poor people. It is also famous for the scenic beauty it gives and most visited place by the local popupations. Whenever you visit it is has huge crowd of students, families and tourists. Recently an aquarium is also innograted there to amuse tourists.
Yesterday, I visited the place and was full of people and tourists. As yesterday the weather was also pleasant with some raindrops soo the place gets its topmost look and was much amazing time there.
