The indian museum is located at westbengal, Kolkatta,INDIA. It is also known as IMPERIAL MUSEUM. IN BRITISH INDIAn ERA ......it was the largest and oldets museum in INDIA.
It was founded by Asiatic society of bengal in kolkatta (culcutta) india in 1814. A Danish botanist named as NATHANIEL WALLICH was the founder.
It has large collection of Art, Zoology, Geology, Antropolologyz, Economic botany, Antiques, armour and ornaments, fossils, skeletons, mummies, and mughal paintings.
