Long Term Effects of The Ban on Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 Currency Notes in India

In a surprise move, The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi announced that from 9th November 2016 onwards, all current Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes will be demonetised to make way for brand new Rs. 500 and Rs. 2000 notes.
