When you are 30 and not Married, in India

Everyone in the village will ask, when will you get married? Behind your back they will talk the possible reasons that someone above 30 is not married yet.

Of course there can be various reasons. One reason is that I have not found anyone so much special whom I feel to marry. I hate the arrange marriage procedure, and I am not interested in it. They ask you questions as if they are interviewing you for a job. Each person has different life experiences, so someone might be inclined towards the arranged marriage, but not everyone has same.

Moreover I love my free life, why should I give up my freedom. Just because I am 30 ? Just because it is the standard created by the society?
