On January 7, we flew from Ho Chi Minh City to Kochi in India and moved to Keralas Beach in a tourist resort in Varkala. The restaurants and shops were high on a cliff. The beach was down the stairs. After Varkala we drove with a driver for 6 hours to Thekkady, where the Peryiar Tiger Preserve begins. We did not see any tigers, but otherwise many wild animals. Finally we went to Trivandrum to get to Sri Lanka from there. See next my (German) report about Sri Lanka, where we are since beginning of February. Next move: end of March back to Europe.
