My Recent visit to Katmandu, Nepal - temples, momos and more
Katmandu in Nepal is one of the beautiful and peaceful cities I have visited so far. Love the people, food, weather there. It a magical city situated in the foothills of the Himalayas.

I was there a few days back. During the winter months people come to Kathmandu for the good daytime climate but it gets very cold at nights.
Daytime temperatures are quite pleasant to warm.Within the Kathmandu valley you can take time out to hike in the countryside or visit many cultural attractions and World Heritage sites within the three cities - Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur.

Visit to Pokhara by a short flight from KTM or several hours on a bus which

will lead you to trekking opportunities in the Annapurna mountains and around - or from Kathmandu you can access Everest treks.
Within Kathmandu you can explore the local foods and street shopping. They have amazing cafes around the corners of the city.
Has to mention my favorite “The Himalayan Java”
You can seat back , relax and enjoy the amazing view outside over a cup of Hot Chocolate or Coffee. The ambiance is quite breathtaking. !

The best time to visit is from March - mid May.
You can enjoy best climate in these seasons.
Nepal is a most beautiful and challenging country to visit - a must see - put it on your bucket list. When you have been you will know why. Life changing.
