Travel Diary #58 The door of many-faced God!
Kelkar museum in Pune has a huge historic collection. There is a hall dedicated to doors, doors made of different materials. There was an ivory door too, a huge Ivory door!! But that is when I found out a hidden gem.
The first look at this door reminded me of the many-faced God pillar in Bravos (if you don't know where Bravos is, well... !) but with a twist. These are not just any men I think, more like Godly figures.
On the other hand, the door is a great example of the talent of carpenters of those times. But, somehow I am not able to get this weird resemblance to the hall of faces. Am I the only one who thinks this looks similar in some way ?!
